Zwick Roell to honour research with new materials testing award
The 2010 Zwick Roell Science Awards will be presented during the Zwick University Day at RWTH Aachen, Germany, in March 2011. Researchers who have published outstanding work that demonstrates the use of materials testing equipment in the development of new materials are entitled to participate. First prize is €5,000 and the award of the Paul Roell Medal, while second and third prizes are €2,000 and €1,000 respectively. The deadline for submissions is 1 November 2010. Applicants can include work carried out on any commercial or ‘home-made’ testing set-up, not just Zwick Roell materials testing systems.
