Bilfinger Berger acquires Rotring Engineering

Bilfinger Berger has expanded its range of products in the Power services business segment: The Group has acquired all shares in Rotring Engineering AG, a specialist in fuel gas systems for oil and gas fired power plant turbines. The company, located near Hamburg, generates an annual output volume of approximately €30 million and is highly profitable. The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the purchase price of the company, which had previously been owned primarily by management. The acquisition is subject to approval from the relevant antitrust authorities.
