KRAHN Chemie is expanding its Technical Service Center in Bottrop, Germany, sending a clear signal for the future: The premises, which now cover a total of 1,400 square meters, combine laboratory services with training courses, creating an environment in which theory and practice interact even more closely.

“With the expansion of our Technical Service Center in Bottrop, we are taking another step toward future viability,” explains Martin John, CEO of KRAHN Chemie. “We are seeing increasing demand for customized solutions in the market. To meet this demand, we are offering new services.” Karlheinz Schuster, Managing Director of KRAHN Chemie Germany, adds: “Our customers and manufacturing partners benefit from the expertise of our local employees and can test formulations directly. This enables us to better meet the needs of our customers and the increasing requirements for performance and sustainability.”

The new concept focuses on combining practical training with laboratory applications. This gives customers and partners the opportunity to develop and optimize formulations, receive further training on site, and organize joint training courses together with KRAHN. In addition to state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, fully equipped training rooms are now also available on site. The first training sessions for customers and workshops in collaboration with manufacturing partners are already planned for the coming months.

In addition to expanding its range of services, this investment also underscores the commitment of KRAHN to sustainability. The aim is to drive forward the development and use of more sustainable products by combining sustainability and technical services with a comprehensive product portfolio of bio-based and recycled products.

“We are proud to be able to offer our partners even more space for collaboration, exchange and growth with this expansion,” says Karlheinz Schuster. Currently, a team of eight employees work for KRAHN Chemie in Bottrop. The company has additional laboratories in Poznań (Poland), Lainate and Berbenno (Italy) and Gothenburg (Sweden), to support partners throughout Europe in the fields of paints and coatings, construction chemicals, adhesives, plastics, personal care and cleaning agents with comprehensive laboratory and sustainability services.
