Eastman's New Eastapure® PM Acetate Stabilized Solvent Reduces Peroxide Formation
Manufactured for semiconductor and electronics applications, EastaPure PM acetate stabilized solvent is formulated with butylated hydroxy toluene (BHT) to minimize the possibilities of peroxides forming in storing, shipping and processing.
"EastaPure PM acetate stabilized is an ideal solvent for producing electronic circuits and computer chips," said Mike Quillen, Eastman technical service representative. "The BHT additive combined with high-purity characteristics makes it a stable and attractive solvent in all production phases-from warehousing and transportation to spin coating on a silicon wafer."
This latest addition in Eastman's line of electronic additive products offers the high purity (low trace metals) required to make integrated circuits on semiconductor chips. Eastman provides a Certificate of Analysis (COA) on a 24-hour basis with each shipment of EastaPure PM acetate stabilized, ensuring customers have this important information on a timely basis.
