Reichhold Signs Agreement with NCS Resins of South Africa

Reichhold, Inc. has signed an agreement to provide NCS resins of South Africa with selected composites industry technology and products for manufacture and distribution in specific regions of Africa.
Under the agreement, NCS Resins will manufacture unsaturated polyester resins and gel coats for composites from Reichhold under the POLYLITE®, HYDREX®, DION® and NORPOL® brands which are owned by Reichhold. Additionally, NCS will serve as a distributor of some Reichhold products while also manufacturing its own proprietary technology. Under the agreement, NCS Resins will sell or distribute Reichhold products in a territory which includes: Republic of South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Ghana, Morocco, Maputo, Namibia, Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Angola and the Indian Ocean Islands.
NCS Resins has manufacturing and laboratory facilities in Isipingo and Pinetown, South Africa and warehousing and distribution outlets in Durban, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town and Johannesburg. The company maintains one of the largest unsaturated polyester resin and gel coat manufacturing facilities in the southern hemisphere and exports products throughout Africa, the Middle East, Indian Ocean Islands and beyond.
