Malvern Instruments launches extended programme of web seminars for 2004
Malvern Instruments has begun a new and extended programme of free web seminars that will run throughout 2004.
The seminars are now an established part of Malvern's customer support and education programmes and are open to all. They cover a wide range of particle characterization issues and this year's programme sees for the first time the addition of dedicated rheology presentations. This follows Malvern's acquisition of Bohlin Instruments in October 2003. A number of presentations will combine both rheology and particle characterization.
In addition to seminars given by Malvern's own experts, there will be several guest presenters from industry and academia. All presentations are recorded and are available for viewing on the Malvern Instruments' website following the live event.
Everyone is welcome to register for the web seminars and they are an ideal way of getting the latest information on particle characterization and rheology applications and products. All you need is an internet connection and access to a telephone.

Topic world Rheology
Rheology deals with the flow behavior and deformation properties of materials. In the chemical field, it is indispensable for understanding the consistency, viscosity and elasticity of liquids, gels and solids. Whether formulating paints, producing polymers or optimizing food textures, rheological properties influence how substances react, move and feel.
