The Dow Chemical Company Announces Price Increases For All Grades of Glycerine and Intermediates in North America

MIDLAND, Mich. - The Epoxy Products and intermediates business of The Dow Chemical Company is increasing the North American off-list prices of all grades of glycerine and intermediates, namely allyl chloride, epichlorohydrin, and bisphenol-A.

Effective April 1, 2004, or as contracts permit, Dow will increase the North American off-list price of all grades of glycerine by $0.03 per pound. This is in addition to the previously announced $0.07 per pound increase that became effective on March 1.

Effective April 1, 2004, or as contracts permit, Dow will increase the North American price of allyl chloride by $0.04 per pound, and epichlorohydrin by $0.05 per pound.

Also effective April 1, 2004, Dow will increase the North American price of all grades of bisphenol-A by $0.06 per pound.

All other terms and conditions of sale remain unchanged.
