New centre for the Endress+Hauser Group

Project 'Sternenhof' investment confirms commitment to Reinach

20-Aug-2004
The Endress+Hauser Group is building a new centre in Reinach. In the area where Bruggstrasse and Kägenstrasse meet, a new administration building will be constructed to house approximately 425 employees. The rooms will be ready for occupation towards the end of 2006. Work on project 'Sternenhof' will commence in July 2004. The first stage will be to dismantle the former Migros storehouse on Bruggstrasse and the existing Endress+Hauser office building situated on Kägenstrasse/Sternenhofstrasse. In their place, a three-sectioned four-storey building will be constructed. Beneath this complex, an underground car park is planned. The new building ensures the further development of Endress+Hauser in Reinach. Various Endress+Hauser departments are already located in the industrial area of 'Kägen', partly in rented offices. These departments will now be consolidatedunder one roof. Shortage of space will no longer be an issue. The new building will allow to provide new jobs at the Group's head office. A representative building at the southern gateway to Reinach Next to the Swiss distributor Endress+Hauser Metso AG and Endress+Hauser Process Solutions AG, specialising in project planning, engineered services and software solutions, Endress+Hauser's Group headquarters will also be housed in the new building. Hence, the new building will enhance Reinach's standing both as business location and a desirable place to live. The building has been designed in a modern clear style and will improve the appearance of the southern gateway to the town of Reinach.
