Reichhold Directors Assume Cross-Regional Responsibilities

Reichhold Senior Vice President for Global coatings Rodney Biddle announced that three Reichhold directors of sales, technology and business management have recently expanded their spheres of responsibility to include the United States, Canada and Mexico, the "NAFTA" region.

Business Management Director Tony Rende has expanded his geographic area of responsibility to include Mexico. Rende previously had profit and loss responsibility for Reichhold's Coatings business in the United States and Canada. Rende leads a group of business managers who are responsible for product line profitability, product positioning, margin management and spearheading targeted product development.

Technical Director Carl Sullivan is now responsible not only for Reichhold's coatings technology efforts in the U.S. and Canada, but also now leads the company's technology team for both coatings and composites in Mexico. All areas of technology in these specified businesses and regions ranging from research and development to technical service fall under Sullivan's leadership.

Sales Director Randy Vasseur has extended his duties assuming responsibility for coatings industry sales throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Reichhold's sales organization in Mexico reports to Vasseur for both the coatings and composites industries.

"For sales, this expansion of responsibility through the NAFTA region will allow Reichhold to take advantage of existing relationships both in the markets we serve and at our customers' plant locations," said Biddle. "For technology, this will help Reichhold to fully utilize our technical resources on a global basis," Biddle continued. "And for business management, this alignment will ensure that Reichhold introduces new products throughout the NAFTA region with an appropriate emphasis throughout the area," he concluded.
