Arkema announces a further increase in its EVA prices

Arkema, manufacturer of HC EVA (High Content Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), announced a further price increase of EUR150/MT effective July 1st 2007. According to the company, this increase is a direct result of the steady rise in raw material, energy and logistics costs in recent months.
Marketed under the trade name Evatane®, Arkema's HC EVAs are used in wide-ranging industrial applications, e.g. hotmelt glue, cable, multilayer packaging film, solar panels, petroleum additives, bitumen and ink.
