Analytik Jena: Provisional 2001 year-end results confirm growth forecasts as planned

19-Dec-2001

Analytik Jena AG concluded the past fiscal year (30. September 2001) with the best results in the company's history. According to provisional calculations, sales revenues could be increased to more than EUR 38 million (previous year: EUR 23.3 million). The earnings before taxes climbed by more than 25 % to over EUR 2 million (previous year: EUR 1.6 million). These figures are provisional, i.e. they have not been testified yet by a certified public accountant. The final group results of the past fiscal year will be announced on January 25, 2002. Analytik Jena AG applied for an extension of the deadline for submitting the testified group results acc. to US-GAAP for the fiscal year 2001 (ended September 30) by the Deutsche Börse AG. The deadline extension became necessary as the year-end results of one of the subsidiaries could not be completed and audited in time for reasons, which from the point of view of the company, Analytik Jena AG is not responsible for. The company points out that the results are based on the current state of information and that they may differ from the final figures, which are scheduled to be announced on January 25, 2002.
