Veteran Marketer to Support Rising Global Demand for Naturally Derived Skin Care Ingredients

National starch Personal Care has announced the appointment of Ralph Manrique as Global Marketing Manager for Skin Care. Mr. Manrique will implement the marketing plans for skin care ingredients offered in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Rising demand for naturally derived skin care ingredients has prompted National Starch Personal Care to strengthen its global marketing team. A series of new bio-polymers and starch based technologies has taken hold in the marketplace, giving rise to a major market position in the skin care segment. Ralph Manrique will manage the marketing programs for these products going forward and supervise the launch of new skin care ingredients on a global basis.

According to Penny Vanemon, Director of marketing, Ralph Manrique has the skills required to grow the skin care business as new technologies based on consumer needs become widely accepted in the marketplace. "

Prior to joining National Starch, Manrique served as the global market manager for Greene, Tweed & Company, a custom manufacturer of specialty composites. He has more than a decade of managerial experience. Since 1991, he supported a number of companies in a managerial role, including the Connell Brothers Company, Ltd., Crompton Corporation and Witco Corporation.
