Multi-way valves enable precise control of fluid flows in complex plant systems and laboratory setups. This valve technology combines highest media resistance with reliable sealing and finds application in pharmaceutical technology, biotechnology, food technology and laboratory technology.

Material diversity for different requirements

The multi-way valves are manufactured from various chemical-resistant plastics. Polypropylene (PP) offers excellent chemical resistance at moderate temperatures. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is characterized by increased temperature resistance and rigidity. Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) ensures highest chemical resistance even against aggressive media. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) combines extreme chemical resistance with low friction values.

Design variants and functional principles

Multi-way valves designed as ball valves use a rotating ball with defined bores for flow control. Plug valves work with a conical plug that can be rotated 180°. Both designs are available in L-configuration (horizontal and vertical) as well as T-configuration. The nominal widths range from 3 to 10 mm with a maximum working pressure of 5 bar at 20°C.

Special connection systems

Luer connection valves made from hard chrome-plated brass enable direct connection to medical devices and laboratory instruments. These valves are designed for working temperatures up to 180°C and are available in various connection combinations. Hose barb connections enable connection with hoses of different inner diameters from 5 to 11 mm.
