Material Diversity for Specific Requirements

Silicone laboratory stoppers offer excellent temperature resistance from -60°C to +200°C and are FDA and BfR compliant for applications in biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, and food industry. Platinum-crosslinked variants with Shore hardness A 45° are particularly suitable for sensitive applications, while standard versions with Shore hardness A 50° are universally applicable.

Elastomer stoppers made from fluorocarbon rubber (FPM/FKM) show exceptional chemical resistance to fuels, oils, acids, and halogenated hydrocarbons. Natural rubber stoppers (NR) are chemically resistant and physiologically safe with a Shore hardness A of 40°.

Polypropylene (PP) standard ground joint stoppers are sterilizable up to +120°C, chemical-resistant, and biocompatible. They are suitable for temperature ranges from -200°C to +260°C and are free from leachable components.

Special Solutions for Various Applications

Aluminum test tube caps with or without handle as well as with claw enable secure closure of culture tubes. Cellulose stoppers serve to close Erlenmeyer flasks and bacterial cultures. Silicone foam stoppers are heat-resistant up to +180°C for permanent applications.
