Styrene-butadiene rubber hoses (SBR) offer an optimal combination of flexibility, chemical resistance and mechanical stability for industrial applications. These rubber hoses are characterized by their excellent weather resistance, aging resistance and cold resistance, making them suitable for use in process engineering, plant engineering, pharmaceutical technology, chemical technology and industrial technology.

SBR hoses show excellent resistance to many acids, alkalis and polar solutions. Depending on the specific application, various designs are available: steam and hot water hoses for temperatures up to +164 °C at 6 bar operating pressure, super thin-walled cable protection hoses with highly abrasion-resistant walls as well as autogenous gas hoses made from SBR/EPDM material mixture for 20 bar operating pressure.

Liquid gas hoses for propane and butane comply with SVS and SVGW regulations as well as EN 559 and ISO 3821 standards. Antistatic chemical and process air hoses made from SBR/NBR combination offer maximum flexibility while providing resistance against aggressive media. The outer sheath made from SBR/EPDM ensures antistatic properties, while the NBR/SBR inner sheath ensures optimal media resistance.
