Control valves are indispensable components for precise control of liquids and gases in chemical process engineering, analytical technology and biotechnology. These shut-off valves enable reliable regulation or complete shut-off of media flow by screwing the spindle into the valve housing.

Material diversity for different requirements

The available materials offer optimal solutions for various application areas:

Polypropylene (PP) shows excellent resistance to lubricants, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones as well as organic and inorganic acids at working temperatures from -5°C to +90°C.

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) as a fluoroplastic offers extended chemical resistance, particularly to halogenated solvents, ammonia solutions and UV radiation at temperatures from -30°C to +150°C.

Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) is characterized by exceptional resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, phenols and strong acids and operates reliably from -200°C to +260°C.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is considered the most chemically resistant fluoroplastic with virtually universal media compatibility and a temperature range from -60°C to +260°C.

Technical specifications

Fine control valves are offered with nominal diameters of 3 mm, 4 mm and 8 mm and achieve maximum flow rates of 60 to 600 l/h depending on the design. The maximum operating pressure is 6 bar at +20°C. All plastic valves undergo strict leak testing according to DIN 3230 and guarantee the highest quality standards.

Angle valves for sampling are equipped with internal thread G 1/4" and enable continuous, safe sample extraction from tubing systems. Needle valves made from PTFE guarantee highly accurate dosing for gases and liquids with tubing of 3/8" outer diameter.
