EPDM O-rings (Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber) provide reliable sealing solutions for demanding applications in pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries. Technical Properties and Approvals:
The EPDM sealing rings are designed for temperature ranges from -40°C to +180°C and are sterilizable at +121°C. They comply with DVGW guidelines (KTW-compliant), ÖVGW standards for Austria, and ACS standards for France. With a Shore hardness A 75° according to DIN 53505, they ensure optimal sealing properties.

Chemical Resistance:
EPDM O-rings exhibit excellent resistance to hot water, steam, glycols, glycol-based brake fluids, as well as acids and alkalis such as nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, and potassium hydroxide. Short-term temperatures up to +210°C are possible.

Application Areas:
These pharmaceutical O-rings and food O-rings are ideally suited for process engineering applications, water transport, cleaning processes at +280°C, and sterile applications in biotechnology.
