PSU quick-disconnect couplings made of polysulfone (PSU) offer a reliable solution for demanding chemical applications. These two-piece hose connectors are characterized by their exceptional resistance to acids and alkalis as well as excellent mechanical properties.
Technical Specifications:
The quick couplings are available in nominal widths of 3.2, 6, 6.4, 7.2, and 9.5 mm and are designed for an operating pressure of 6 bar at +20°C. The temperature range extends from -40°C to +138°C, with temperatures up to +60°C possible at 2 bar operating pressure.
Connection Options and Functions:
The couplings are available with either hose barb or NPT/G external threads. Both shut-off variants with valve function and straight-through designs are available. The valve spring is made of corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel.
Easy Handling:
The coupling parts are separated by simple thumb pressure, simultaneously activating the locking mechanism. This ensures safe and quick connection or disconnection even under operating conditions.
