Drain valves are indispensable components for the controlled withdrawal and dosing of liquids from containers, drums and canisters. These fittings, also known as drum valves, tap valves or filling valves, ensure precise dosing and safe handling of various media in laboratory and industrial applications.

Material diversity for different requirements

The product range includes drain valves made from various materials, each offering specific advantages:

Plastic drain valves: High-density polyethylene (HDPE) offers excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis and organic solvents at operating temperatures from -30°C to +90°C. Polypropylene (PP) is characterized by compact design and resistance up to +70°C. Conductive polyamide 12 (PA 12) prevents electrostatic charging and is suitable for temperatures up to +110°C.

Metal drain valves: Brass versions for operating pressures up to PN 10 and temperatures from -5°C to +50°C. Stainless steel variants offer maximum corrosion resistance and extended temperature range up to +130°C.

Technical specifications and connections

The valves are available with various threaded connections - from R 1/4" to R 1" - and enable operating pressures between 1.5 and 10 bar depending on material and design. Special variants with hose nozzles, rotating outlet angles or compact design meet the most diverse installation requirements.
