RCT Reichelt Chemietechnik
Precision Trapezoidal Threads for Force-Transmitting Linear Motion in Industry and Mechanical Engineering
RCT Reichelt Chemietechnik GmbH + Co.
Trapezoidal threads are characterized by their distinctive trapezoidal thread profile and enable efficient transmission of high axial forces while providing precise motion control. These robust drive elements convert rotational motion into linear motion and find wide application in spindle drives, positioning units, and lifting devices.
The system consists of trapezoidal thread nuts and trapezoidal thread spindles, which ensure a backlash-free and force-transmitting connection through their precise internal threading. The trapezoidal flank geometry offers improved wear resistance and higher load capacity compared to conventional threads, making them ideal for demanding industrial applications.
Available materials include steel, stainless steel, gunmetal, and polyamide 6.6 (PA 6.6), with gunmetal versions being preferred in plant and mechanical engineering as well as in food and laboratory technology. Stainless steel variants are particularly suitable for pharmaceutical applications and food technology due to their corrosion resistance and hygienic properties.
The product range includes:
- Trapezoidal thread nut with flange
- Trapezoidal thread nut with flange, ready for installation
- Round trapezoidal thread nut
- Hexagonal trapezoidal thread nut
- Trapezoidal thread spindle made of stainless steel
- Trapezoidal thread spindle made of steel
All components are manufactured according to DIN ISO 103 and are available as both right-hand and left-hand threads. The correct matching of thread nut and thread spindle regarding material, size, and pitch ensures optimal functionality and operational safety.
Trapezoidal threads and other products, such as worm gears and bevel gears, are available directly in the online shop of RCT Reichelt Chemietechnik. The range of RCT Reichelt Chemietechnik offers over 80,000 different products, which are used among others in mechanical engineering, chemical technology, process engineering as well as medical technology.
