DuPont Titanium Technologies announced a price increase for all DuPont™ Ti-Pure® titanium dioxide (TiO2) grades sold in Latin America.
Effective Sept. 1, 2009, or as permitted by contract, prices in Latin America will increase by $150 (USD) per metric ton. This increase is in addition to the recently announced price increase on June 3, 2009.
In addition to implementing a price increase, DuPont Titanium Technologies plans to reduce payment terms. “The current economic environment requires businesses to improve cash-to-cash cycle time in support of a sustainable business model,” said E. Bryan Snell, global business director – DuPont Titanium Technologies. “A reduction in payment terms is an important step along this path.”
