Ashland to increase price on solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives in North America
Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc., is increasing the price of its Aroset® solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesive products by 8 cents per wet pound in North America effective March 1, or at the earliest possible time thereafter depending on individual customer contracts.
"The price increase is necessary to offset continuing cost escalation of key raw materials used to manufacture these products," said David Hatgas, director, global product management, adhesives and coatings, Ashland Performance Materials.
