In the scope of the restructuring of its methacrylics activity, Arkema has reached an agreement with Evonik for the sale of its Higher Methacrylates business This Higher Methacrylates business concerns n-butyl methacrylate, i-butyl methacrylate, 2 ethyl hexyl methacrylate and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate (MADAME®).

These monomers are mainly used for the production of paints and coatings, as well as for the water treatment.
