BASF increases European prices for methylamine derivatives

With immediate effect or as existing contracts permit, BASF is increasing its European sales prices for methylamine derivatives as follows:

Dimethylaminopropylamine (DMAPA) + €100/metric ton

Dimethylethanolamine (DMEOA) + €90/metric ton

Methylethanolamine (MMEOA) + €85/metric ton

Methyldiethanolamine (MDEOA) + €85/metric ton

Dimethylformamide (DMF) + €65/metric ton

Dimethylacetamide (DMAC) + €50/metric ton

Methylamine derivatives are versatile chemical intermediates with a wide range of applications, such as agrochemicals, water treatment and personal care. They also prove valuable in the production of feed additives and organic solvents. BASF produces methylamine derivatives at its sites in Ludwigshafen, Germany; Geismar, Louisiana; Nanjing, China; and Camaçari, Brazil.
