INEOS Styrenics announces Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) price increase
INEOS styrenics announced that prices for Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) products in Europe will increase by +€ 100 Euro /per tonne effective Mar 1st, 2011. Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) margins have deteriorated to an extent that is no longer sustainable. The rising costs of raw materials can no longer be absorbed, particularly during a period of higher seasonal demand.
