Joseph A. Miller, Jr., to Retire from DuPont

Joseph A. Miller, Jr., senior vice president – DuPont research & development, has elected to retire effective April 1, 2001.
Miller's 35-year DuPont career included a variety of assignments in research and development, manufacturing, business and marketing. His expansive knowledge of the company and its markets enabled him to institute positive change in the structure and direction of DuPont research and development – keeping the company at the forefront of research and maintaining our claim as one of the world's premiere science companies.
Miller is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and was appointed to the National Science Board by the President of the United States.
