Linde receives EUR 100 million contract for additional liquefied natural gas plant in Norway
The Linde Group has received an order from Skangass AS for the turnkey supply of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) production plant for a site in Risavika, near Stavanger, Norway. Skangass AS is a joint venture between utility provider Lyse Gass and financial investor Celsius Invest. The contract value is approximately EUR 100 million.
The LNG plant has a production capacity of approximately 300,000 tonnes per year and will provide LNG for customers in Scandinavia and in the Baltic region from 2010. AGA Gas AB, a Linde subsidiary in Sweden, will use and distribute a sixth of the total LNG volume.
