Bruker Daltonics Announces Selection of its Range of Chemical Agent Detectors for Slovenian Armored Vehicles

Bruker Daltonik GmbH announced that it was awarded a $3.5 million contract to supply the Slovenian Army with a series of long range and point chemical detectors for integration into Slovenia's new lightweight reconnaissance vehicles. This contract has been awarded in cooperation with Em.tronic d.o.o., a Slovenian defense contractor. The Bruker Daltonics equipment to be supplied consists of RAPID(TM) infrared chemical standoff detectors, RAID-S2(TM) ion mobility spectrometers (IMS) for vehicle air monitoring and RAID-M100(TM) IMS systems for hand-held chemical agent detection. The equipment will be delivered over the next two years.
