Due to continuous cost pressures on raw materials and utilities, Arkema announces a EUR100/T price increase for its Norsocryl® Methacrylic monomers, effective April 1, 2008.
This concerns Methyl Methacrylate (MMA), Methacrylic Acid (MAA), as well as the other esters iBMA, nBMA, 2-EHMA and Madame sold in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Methyl Methacrylate is mainly used for the production of PMMA and plastic additives, and is a component of acrylic emulsions.
