Silicone hoses made from high-quality silicone rubber (VMQ) offer exceptional temperature resistance from -60°C to +300°C and meet the highest requirements in medical, pharmaceutical and industrial applications. The platinum-cured elastomers are FDA, BfR and USP compliant, pyrogen-free and biocompatible.

Technical Properties and Advantages

VMQ hoses are characterized by absolute resistance to aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, acids, alkalis as well as UV radiation. They are autoclavable, hot-air sterilizable and gamma-ray resistant. High flexibility is maintained even at extreme temperatures, while the Shore hardness A of 70° ensures optimal mechanical properties.

Application Areas

High-temperature pressure hoses with glass fiber inserts are suitable for pressure levels of 35-60 bar. Antistatic designs made from silicone-carbon compounds provide electrical conductivity for ESD-critical applications. Pharmaceutical and medical hoses comply with European Pharmacopoeia guidelines and are blood-compatible.
