Technical Properties and Application Areas
Activated carbon granules based on bitumen with sulfur impregnation offer maximum specific surface areas through their high proportion of micropores. Temperature resistance up to +70 °C enables use under various process conditions. Molecular sieves with defined pore widths of 4 Å or 10 Å ensure selective adsorption based on molecular size.
Blue gel granules made from porous poly-silica gel are characterized by excellent adsorption properties for gas drying. Potassium permanganate sorbents utilize their high oxidation potential for oxidizing organic compounds, while calcium/sodium hydroxide sorbents neutralize acidic gas components through salt formation due to their basic properties.
