ETFE tubing:

RCT Reichelt Chemietechnik

High-pressure resistant ETFE tubing for HPLC and aggressive media - chemically inert and flexible

RCT Reichelt Chemietechnik GmbH + Co.

ETFE tubing (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) provides an optimal solution for demanding applications in analytics and chemical technology. These high-pressure resistant capillary tubes are characterized by their chemical inertness, flexibility and impact resistance.

Technical properties and application areas:

ETFE tubing is free from extractable components and resistant to solvents of all types. With pressure loads between 30 and 185 bar, they are excellently suited for HPLC applications, ion chromatography and separation of bioactive substances. The temperature range extends from -200°C to +150°C, briefly even up to +200°C.

Available product variants:

  • ETFE chemical tubing: Inner diameter 0.25 to 4.8 mm
  • ETFE/PUR composite tubing: Flexible outer sheath made of polyurethane for smallest bending radii

The composite tubes combine the chemical resistance of ETFE with the flexibility of PUR. This construction enables use in confined spaces with maximum operational safety. With an operating pressure of 6 bar and inner diameters from 2 to 8 mm, they cover diverse applications.

Quality characteristics:

All ETFE tubing is physiologically safe, colorless-translucent and has a Shore hardness of D 75°. They are optimally suited for conveying acids, bases, salt solutions and organic solvents in laboratory and production environments.

ETFE tubing and other products, such as ECTFE chemical tubing and ETFE/PUR composite tubing, are available directly in the online shop of RCT Reichelt Chemietechnik. The range of RCT Reichelt Chemietechnik offers over 80,000 different products, which are used among others in mechanical engineering, chemical technology, process engineering as well as medical technology.
