Material diversity for different requirements

The fittings are available in four proven plastic variants: Polypropylene (PP) for temperatures up to 120°C, Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with universal chemical resistance up to 260°C, Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) as fluoroplastic up to 150°C, and Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) for highest demands up to 260°C. All materials comply with European Pharmacopoeia standards and are FDA and BfR compliant.

Technical properties and applications

Chemical resistance varies depending on the material: PP shows resistance to gasoline, alcohols and mineral acids. PTFE offers universal resistance against almost all chemicals. PVDF resists halogenated solvents and UV radiation. PFA combines the advantages of PTFE with improved processability.

Temperature resistance ranges from -40°C to +280°C depending on the material, resulting in diverse application possibilities in process chemistry, analytics and pharmaceutical production.
