International Specialty Products Inc. (ISP) will increase global prices for polymers, vinyl monomers, emollients, emulsifiers, preservatives, UV filters, and encapsulates 5% to 7% effective July 1, 2010, or as contracts allow.
This increase applies to products sold into the personal care, pharmaceutical, oral care, beverage, performance chemicals, and agricultural markets. The price increase is necessary due to material and energy cost escalation since early 2009.
