Gilson Launches www.pipetman.eu, A New Online Store for the European Market

Gilson S.A.S proudly announces the launch of www.pipetman.eu, a new online web shop that caters specifically to the European scientific market. Unveiled on August 1, 2010, www.pipetman.eu provides a multi-lingual platform that is offered in French, German and English. Orders for Gilson products placed through the website can be shipped to 10 European countries, allowing for an extremely easy shopping experience for users throughout the region. The site also allows users to purchase products in either Euros or Swiss Francs. “Our customers want to be able to order products when it is convenient for them.” Silke Ubben, Marketing Manager, Gilson International, said. “Consumers throughout Europe now have easy access to our entire line of manual liquid handling products and pricing, and a convenient way to purchase lab equipment directly from Gilson. This online store is also a great tool to reach new customer groups and to support our international expansion.” Products available on WWW.PIPETMAN.EU range from the entire line of PIPETMAN® pipettes and Gilson tips, to personal bench top equipment. As an incentive for using the new web shop, customers placing orders online between now and Nov. 30, 2010, will receive a 10% discount off their entire order. The overall navigation, placing items in the shopping cart, and applying discount codes is very intuitive and fast to manage. After registration, the login and user account are activated by the Gilson customer support group and the user can start placing items in their online shopping cart. Currently, only purchase orders are accepted as payment; however online payment options will be available in the near future. The new online store allows customers to keep in touch with Gilson, to find out more about high quality manual liquid handling products useful for any laboratory and, furthermore, keep up-to-date about new product news, promotions and special offers.
