Sachtleben announces price increases for barium hydroxide

Sachtleben Chemie, Duisburg Germany has announced an increase in its prices for barium hydroxide mono- and octahydrate products. Barium hydroxide is used mainly for the production of PVC stabilizers. The price adjustment partially offsets continuing cost increases for raw materials and high demands in the global markets. Sachtleben is raising prices worldwide for all BaOH grades by 15% with effect from January 1, 2011.
