Univar announces extended distribution agreement with Dow Personal Care in United Kingdom and Ireland

Univar Inc. announced that it is expanding its long-standing relationship with Dow and has signed an agreement to distribute its complete portfolio of speciality personal care ingredients in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The agreement includes Dow’s new EcoSmooth™ conditioning polymers.

Univar has distributed Dow’s personal care ingredients across Europe for many years, including in the UK and Ireland, but this is the first time it will distribute the full personal care range in this region. From 1st June 2011 Univar will begin marketing the full range of legacy Rohm and Haas personal care specialties: Acudyne™ hair fixative polymers, Aculyn™ rheology modifiers, Soltex™ water-proofing polymers, Opulyn™ opacifiers and SunSpheres SPF boosters.
