Saudi’s NATPET to Establish Distribution Centers Across Europe and UK

Agreements with De RIJKE and KATOEN NATIE give NATPET regional foothold

Saudi Arabia’s National Petrochemical Industrial Company (NATPET) a producer of high quality polypropylene, signed partnership agreements with European logistics providers De RIJKE N.V. and KATOEN NATIE to establish regional storage and distribution centers for NATPET customers in the Benelux, Germany, Northern Italy, France and United Kingdom.

The Agreements will create numerous benefits for NATPET customers ranging from cost-savings and increased efficiencies to improved after sales services and delivery times of a 72-hour maximum. The company will offer through the distribution centers a wide range of PP grade mix (Homopolymers, Random & Heterphasic Copolymers) in accordance to its supply agreements with customers under the trade name of Teldene® that serve diversified market segments including rigid and flexible packaging, fiber and raffia, consumer goods, automotive and others.

The Agreements were signed by Jamal Malaikah, President and Chief Operating Officer of NATPET, L.H. De Rijke, President & Managing Director of De Rijke, and Fabian Leroy, Vice President of Katoen Natie, in the presence of several high ranking officials from the three companies.
