Dow Corning Receives Chairman Award from Association of International Chemical Manufacturers

The Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (AICM) presented Dow Corning Greater China with its Chairman Award in recognition of its outstanding performance and continued efforts in practicing Responsible Care® in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) at its operations in Greater China. This is the second Chairman award the company has received.

"We are honored to receive the Responsible Care Chairman award from AICM for the second time. It is a great recognition of all Dow Corning Greater China employees' commitment to excellence in EHS," said Linda Kennan, Corporate Vice President of Stewardship, when receiving the award in Beijing.

Dow Corning Greater China has been a committed member of AICM, focusing on the enhancement of AICM stakeholders' communication, and supporting the promotion of Responsible Care in the region. It chairs the AICM Product Stewardship sub-committee helping AICM members to implement product stewardship code. The company is also a signatory of the AICM Beijing Manifesto, committed to supporting the advancement of the chemical industry's EHS performance in China, promoting scientific and risk-based EHS policies.

Furthermore, Dow Corning facilitates the cooperation between International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) and China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) to promote Responsible Care in China.
