CHEMCENTRAL is pleased to announce that on July 1, 2005, the completion of its acquisition of the assets of Solchem Pty, Ltd., of New South Wales, Australia. Solchem is a major distributor to the coatings, industrial cleaners and related industrial solvent markets. We will operate as CHEMCENTRAL Australia Pty., Ltd.,

William R. Hough, most recently Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing for CHEMCENTRAL, has been appointed President of the new enterprise.

Mr. John Yanney, CHEMCENTRAL President, CEO indicated, "The acquisition reflects CHEMCENTRAL's commitment to the growing importance of the Australian market, with significant multinational opportunities in the rapidly expanding Asia/Pacific marketing area. That's the reason we've placed one of our most respected and experienced people in charge of the new operation."

Mr. Hough has been with CHEMCENTRAL in numerous management positions for 31 years. Over the last five years Mr. Hough has been involved in the management of CHEMCENTRAL's joint venture company, DoveChemCentral, with operations in China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam. He has also worked with the Indian and Middle East joint venture RishiChem. Mr. Hough will continue to serve on CHEMCENTRAL's Bord of Directors. He will also serve on the Board of CHEMCENTRAL Australia Pty., Ltd.
