Bayer MaterialScience Upgrades Integrated Polyol and Systems Production at New Martinsville, W.Va., Plant
Computerized Control for Entire Formulated Systems Production Process to Significantly Improve Efficiency and Flexibility
Bayer MaterialScience, LLC has approved a significant upgrade project at its New Martinsville, W.Va., integrated polyol and systems production facility. The project, which represents an $8 million investment, provides computerized control for the entire formulated systems production process from raw material receipt to final product shipment. The project is expected to significantly improve the flexibility of the unit to align with the current and future needs of a dynamic marketplace. The project will be implemented in phases with completion expected by the fourth quarter of 2007.
