MultiScan MS 20

Dispersion stability analysis – easy and efficient

DataPhysics Instruments GmbH

Fast, sensitive, and non-destructive optical stability and aging analysis

Parallel measurement in up to six independent ScanTowers with individual experimental conditions

Analysis in original concentrations and under the real storage conditions (-10 °C to 80 °C)

MultiScan MS 20 helps in the product optimization of emulsions and suspensions

Dispersion stability is a crucial characteristic of cosmetic and pharmaceutical emulsions, creams, and cleansers, as well as of all other multi-phase mixtures, such as paints or seal slurries in the building industry. To optimize those in product development, a dispersion stability analysis is inevitable. This analysis is carried out fast, easily, and highly precise with a MultiScan MS 20 from DataPhysics Instruments. The MS 20 offers a non-destructive, time- and space-resolved optical stability and aging analysis of, in particular, emulsions and suspensions – in the original concentration as well as under the real storage conditions. With up to six independent ScanTowers it is possible to run in parallel measurements on different timescales (ranging from minutes to months) and at various temperatures (-10 °C up to 80 °C). With the intuitive MSC software automatic measuring procedures are defined and the stability, occurring destabilization mechanisms as well as sample parameters like the particle size are subsequently comprehensively analyzed.
