Peristaltic pumps:

Peristaltic Pumps

Reliable and Low-pulsation Transport of Liquids in Laboratory Analysis

AHF analysentechnik AG

Whether in chemical or biological laboratories, biotechnology or other fields - peristaltic pumps are widely used. Their advantages are reliability, uncomplicated design and handling, and the fact that the pumped medium only comes into contact with the tubing material and not with the pump mechanism itself. In addition, the pumps are insensitive to gas bubbles in the liquid and are also suitable for emulsions or suspensions.

AHF analysentechnik can offer you peristaltic pumps from the manufacturer Spetec with 1–6 liquid channels. For each channel the contact pressure of the tubing can be regulated separately and the same or different tubing in material and diameter can be used. Through the combination of tube diameter and rotational speed, delivery rates between 2µl and 20ml (optionally even 100ml) per channel are possible. 12 rollers in the pump head minimise pulsation of the liquid flow. As an option, pumps are available with 2 x 8 phase-shifted rollers in combination with special double tubing to reduce pulsation to an absolute minimum (maximum 3 pulsation-damped channels). For the pumps, we offer pump tubing for a wide range of media, from aqueous solutions to strong acids and organic solvents.

In addition to manual control via the control panel (switch for running direction and purging, potentiometer for continuously variable speed regulation), all pumps can also be controlled externally. As an option, the pumps are also available with a control option via the USB interface, which facilitates integration into control loops. Due to their solid construction and the acid-resistant coated housing, the peristaltic pumps are extraordinarily reliable and durable.

Advantages at a glance:

  • Reliable and durable (housing with acidresistant coating)
  • Manual or external control possible
  • Wide choice of tubing materials and diameter
