Compression fittings made of brass and stainless steel provide a reliable solution for high-pressure resistant pipe connections in hydraulics, chemical technology, and HPLC analytics. These compression ring fittings are standardized according to EN ISO 8434 and DIN 2353 respectively, and achieve pressures up to 350 bar (light duty) or 600 bar (heavy duty).
The operating principle is based on a simple but effective concept: When tightening the conically tapered union nut, the compression ring is compressed and cuts into the pipe wall. This creates an absolutely leak-tight seal that functions reliably even at the highest pressure levels.
