Technical Properties and Performance Features
FPM sealing rings are characterized by their excellent resistance to aggressive media. They resist fats and oils, fuels, vegetable and animal fats as well as aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. Additionally, they show resistance to amines and hydraulic fluids, even at elevated operating temperatures. The working temperature range extends from -15°C to +200°C with a Shore hardness A of 75° according to DIN 53505.
Application Areas in Critical Industries
These high-performance seals are preferably used in mechanical engineering, where reliable sealing against liquid and gaseous media is required. In the food industry, they prove themselves at sterilization temperatures up to 149°C, while in pharmaceutical applications they withstand temperatures up to 125°C.
