DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials, a specialty chemicals distributor, has started a strategic partnership with Clariant. Under a distribution agreement with Clariant’s Business Unit Industrial & Consumer Specialties, DKSH will market their consumer care, and paints and coatings product portfolios in India, the Philippines and Vietnam. DKSH Performance Materials will be leveraging its comprehensive distribution footprint in Asia to provide tailored services and exceptional distribution opportunities for Clariant.

Clariant’s paints and coatings segment supplies emulsifiers to the emulsion polymerization industry, state-of-the-art dispersing agents for pigment preparation manufacturers and other additives such as foam control agents, wetting agents, special solvents as well as special-effect additives for the paints and coatings industry. In the agricultural field, Clariant supplies a wide range of adjuvants and inerts to agricultural chemical producers. In the consumer care area, Clariant offers a complete range of ingredients for cosmetic and home care formulations. The products are attractive in sensorial attributes and easily processed, as well as being safe and ecologically friendly. Additionally the portfolio consists of formulation concepts for all kinds of skin, hair and home care applications.
