Ashland Specialty Chemical Names Hritz Product Manager
Ashland Specialty Chemical Company’s Petrochemical Division has named Todd S. Hritz product manager for its Methanol business. He will be based in Dublin, Ohio, and report to Paul W. Flood, Petrochemical’s business manager for its methanol and maleic anhydride business units.
Mike Shannon, vice president and general manager of Petrochemical and Engineering, made the announcement.
Hritz previously served as a business development/marketing specialist for Ashland Distribution Company’s Service Businesses Division. He joined the company in 1992 as a technical service laboratory technician for Ashland Specialty Chemical’s Foundry Products Division. During his tenure, he has held various sales and marketing positions in Ashland Distribution’s Industrial Chemicals & Solvents and General Polymers divisions. He also served as a marketing specialist for Ashland’s central marketing group.
A native of Wintersville, Ohio, Hritz earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering technology from Kent State University and a master’s degree in business from Oklahoma City University.
