17-Feb-2014 - Germany

Munich-based Altmann Analytik GmbH & Co. KG announced that it has acquired Dinkelberg analytics GmbH from Gablingen with effect from January 2014. Dinkelberg analytics was founded in 1922 and has produced for more than 50 years their own lab instruments, such as water baths or vacuum package tester.

By acquiring Dinkelberg, the specialist for chromatography Altmann Analytik has extended its portfolio with general lab supply and instruments. Dinkelberg analytics is primarily focused on laboratories in the southern area of Germany. Additionally the company, with a tradition of more than 90 years, sells high-quality instruments of their own brand Dinkelberg analytics, such as water baths, special water baths or vacuum package testers. These instruments are used especially in the food industry.

Altmann Analytik has taken over all employees and assets of Dinkelberg analytics GmbH. “We are delighted to welcome the motivated Dinkelberg team and the extensive laboratory expertise they bring to our company. Together, we can offer our customers a broader product portfolio so they can profit from competent advice and more than 200,000 lab products from one single supplier”, states managing director Tobias Thelen.
