Degussa increases prices for methacrylic monomers
Degussa´s Methacrylates Business Unit is increasing its prices for methacrylate monomers. The new pricing structure applies to customers worldwide with the exception of NAFTA. NAFTA pricing has been communicated separately by CYRO Industries, a 100% subsidiary of Degussa.
Effective October 1, 2006, as far as permissible under existing agreements, the prices will be increased by the levels indicated below:
Europe: Methyl Methacrylate +160 EUR/mt, Methacrylic Acid +120 EUR/mt, Butyl Methacrylate +160 EUR/mt, Hydroxy Esters +90 EUR/mt, Specialty Esters +100 EUR/mt
Rest of the World (except NAFTA): Methyl Methacrylate +210 $/mt, Methacrylic Acid +160 $/mt, Butyl Methacrylate +300 $/mt, Hydroxy Esters +120 $/mt, Specialty Esters +130 $/mt
