Elemica, RAILINC Form Rail Supply Chain Management Alliance
Technology leaders will introduce new rail logistics solutions for North American chemicals industry
With the initial release in 4th quarter, 2001, this joint solution will provide chemical industry trading partners access to comprehensive, accurate and timely car and fleet location information. Subsequent offerings will be rapidly deployed and will include capabilities for transportation arrangement, operational support, transit history analysis, proactive alerts and other products designed to reduce supply chain costs. These integrated solutions will improve information usability and timeliness, driving better delivery performance and enhanced equipment utilization.
